What is Circle of Friends?

Circle of Friends is a non-profit social service agency that provides services to citizens.  Circle of Friends sponsors two full service activity centers in Beaver County.  One is located at the corners of Linmore and Wayne Streets In Baden and one at 6th Avenue in Beaver Falls (formerly St. Philomena's School).  Circle of Friends also sponsors two satellite centers located at 720 Midland Avenue in Midland and 2370 Hospital Drive in Aliquippa. 

 

What does Circle of Friends Offer?

At the two full service sites in Baden and Beaver Falls, the centers open at 8:30 a.m. and remain open until 2:30 p.m.  A variety of activites are offered including classes for computer skills, aerobics, line dance and ballroom dance.  The sites also offer bingo, bowling, yoga, health and wellness seminars, insurance counseling, updates on legislative issues for senior citizens and much more.  At the satellite site in Aliquippa and Midland, the hours are 9:30 a.m. until 1:00 p.m.  Various activities are offered at each of these sites and activity calendars can be obtained at any center.  Lunch is served daily at noon at all sites.  DART transportation is available to all Circle of Friends sites.
